Volvo Penta is an established global engine manufacturer and has a reputation for producing high quality diesel engines that are fuel efficient, producing minimum noise and delivering excellent performance.

In order to maintain a controlled working temperature in cylinders and combustion chambers, the Volvo engine is equipped with a unique piston cooling system. The engines are fitted with replaceable cylinder liners and valve/guides ensuring high durability, long service intervals, quick service and low oil volume which reduces emissions and impact on the environment.

Low Exhaust Emission

Volvo's innovations include a high tech injection and a super efficient charge air system with low internal losses, which contributes to its excellent combustion and low fuel consumption. All engines comply with the EU and EPA/CARB emissions regulations. This is achieved by constant re-appraisal and development of their engines, ( Volvo Advanced Combustion Technology, (V-ACT). This includes an internal exhaust gas recirculation device and an enhanced electronic controller.
