First Generators Roll Off New YorPower Production Line

The new generator production lines at YorPower are now fully operational.

The first units to come off the line last week were four 20kVA units with Perkins engines, Leroy Somer alternators and 7320 DSE control panels with AMF Start. The units were all manufactured for a specific UK order.

YorPower Operations Director, Steve Hammond, said, "We are delighted that the new production and assembly facility is now complete. It allows us to build generators here in the UK on a significant scale and to customer specification".

The YorPower standard generator range covers 10 - 2,000kVA using Perkins engines and Newage Stamford alternators. "We are absolutely committed to quality and the YorPower warranty is a testament to our complete faith in the extremely high engineering standards we work to" said Steve.
