Planned Maintenance
Whether your generator operates 24/7 or as a standby unit,
we offer maintenance contracts tailored to your needs. From
minor service to major overhauls, Yorpower provide a quality
service to ensure your generator operates with minimum downtime
and at optimum efficiency. Yorpower will plan, oversee and
perform your generator installation and commissioning works,
including project management and procurement of ancillary
equipment as required. We can perform this on a turnkey basis
or working jointly with other customer subcontractors as required.
Breakdown and 24 hour callout
If your generator fails for any reason, you can be assured
of an immediate response from our service team. Our engineers
have combine a wealth of experience with a capability to completely
overhaul generators. This experience and knowledge combine
to ensure Yorpower can support any generating set we are called
out to.
For customers who require the added assurance of 24 hour
emergency callout, we can provide this in combination with
a maintenance contract.
Spare Generator Parts
 Whatever
your requirement for spare parts – from failed bulbs to maintenance
kits to a complete engine rebuild, Yorpower can supply the
spare parts for almost all generators and engines in operation
today. We can also make informed recommendations on spare
part holdings for customers who wish to perform their own
maintenance. We hold a large stock of fast-moving spare parts,
and through our supply chain partners can provide all other
parts very rapidly. This ensures our customers can maximise
their generator set availability.
Load Bank Testing
To provide absolute assurance in proving your generator or
UPS capability, Yorpower have load bank testing facilities
– either static or mobile. We can test up to 1750kVA sets
at our facility near York; alternatively we can offer our
mobile load banks on hire. These can be transported to any
part of the UK, and can provide testing capability up to 900kVA.

- Load steps selectable in 1kW stages
- Selectable mains powered fan for ease of testing
- Accept & reject buttons enabling load step testing
